Dana Langford
Born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, Dana Langford grew up with country music wafting through the radio in her dad’s pickup truck. A true daughter of the South, she’s always been a lover of good food, good stories, and the kind of music that moves you.
A born storyteller, Dana began writing haiku poetry in her youth, enchanted by how just a few words could hold an entire world. That passion led her to a successful two-decade career as a documentary television producer in Los Angeles, where she crafted stories on hit shows and cherished holding safe, compassionate space for people from all walks of life.
Eventually, the pull of home grew too strong to ignore. Dana returned to Louisiana, where she now lives on a small farm with her two kids and a couple of spirited rescue dogs. The grass feels just right beneath her cowboy boots—still the most comfortable shoes she owns.
These days, Dana is channeling her storytelling gifts into country songwriting, blending her roots with a reverence for authenticity, connection, and joy. Her songs carry the heartbeat of a soul of lived experience, and the belief that music reaches places other mediums can’t touch.
Guided by joie de vivre and grounded in truth, Dana Langford is writing lyrics that speak to the heart — and remind us we all have a story worth singing..
